Book cover of Borgward by Stephen G. Kirk

When Henry Drummond inherits a pristine 1939 Borgward sedan from his estranged grandfather, he assumes it’s nothing more than a valuable antique. But the car carries a history far darker than any collector’s prize.

Built in Nazi Germany and once linked to Heinrich Himmler himself, the Borgward arrives with a battered journal and a handful of photographs that suggest the vehicle witnessed some of the Third Reich’s most sinister moments. At first, Henry dismisses the stories as relics of wartime myth. Then the car begins to start up and drive itself.

Each night, always around the same hour, the engine roars to life in the garage. A uniformed driver appears behind the wheel. And by morning, the car sits quietly where it began—leaving behind faint traces of blood, whispers of violence, and the growing certainty that something evil still rides within its polished black frame.

As Henry digs deeper into the car’s past, he discovers a terrifying truth: the Borgward isn’t just haunted. It is hunting.

He no longer questions whether the legend is real… but who the car will claim next.
